Will Paul Thomas Anderson's The Actual Arrive This Fall?

Official release plans weren't revealed for Paul Thomas Anderson's mysterious untitled religious drama, referred to as Master, which stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix and was apparently shot on 65mm. But while distributor The Weinstein Co. has not let slip potential release dates yet, producer/financier Megan Ellison dropped an indication on Twitter in regards to a possible fall opening. Reacting towards the PT Anderson fansite Cigarettes & Red-colored Vines, Ellison (whose Annapurna Films funded the project) gave expect an overdue 2012 debut. @cigsandredvines I understand everyone are waiting on the release date for 'the Master', and it is still a little early, but I'd keep my eyes on October - Megan Ellison (@meganeellison) March 6, 2012 When the October date lands it might potentially mean we'll begin to see the Master debut at Cannes in May, where Punch-Drunk Love opened before opening in October of 2002, or play Telluride/Toronto/NYFF before release at the beginning of honours season. While one Tweet (and Anderson's film fest history) is awfully little to take, it'd seem sensible if things shook out by doing this, but stay updated for additional because this phantom October date approaches.
